HISTORY


 


The KINDERHOOK SPORTSMEN'S CLUB was founded in 1954 and this year proudly celebrates it's half century anniversary.

The Club was organized with the following purposes in mind and has stuck to them for 50 years.

1. To promote interest in hunting, shooting sports, fishing,trapping, boating, archery, and other lawful sports; to aid in the protection and preservation of birds, fish and game; and to provide and maintain a suitable clubhouse for the use of its members.

2. To encourage the teaching and learning of good sportsmanship, and careful and safe methods in handling all equipment used in; swimming, boating, archery, shooting sports, fishing, hunting and the preservation of wild life and natural resources.

3. To uphold and preserve the Second Amendment of the Constitution of the United States.
